How we got started

Based in Mason, MI.

Doberman Technologies was started in 2005 by Ian Richardson. Ian started his I.T. career working in-house I.T. support. Recognizing unmet business needs, he started offering I.T. services, eventually leaving his in-house role and transitioning to full-time business ownership.

Ian was raised with a unique understanding of healthcare language and culture by an immediate family full of healthcare providers.

Seeing the benefits of understanding the language and culture of different business categories, Ian pursued similar insights across other business verticals. By the Summer of 2010, Doberman started to experience accelerated growth that continues to this day.

In 2017, Doberman implemented The Paterson Center’s StratOP ™ process, which drove the team to focus on strategy and process to drive predictable, goal-oriented outcomes, bringing us to the present day.
